Farine Five Roses
This signage is one of Montréal's most iconic and beloved emblems. This massive neon is set with a block letter sans serif typeface, with each letter being 15 feet tall. It has been around since 1948 and continues to light up our city's skyline. It was originally owned by a flour company that sold the building to Smuckers in 2006, and therefore the lights were turned off. This caused a large outcry in Montréal, and eventually it was turned back on. It has become a landmark and cultural icon that represents our city.
