Boys don't cry
BOYS DON'T CRY - FRANK OCEAN (google image)
We can see the different levels of hierarchy in this cover/enveloppe for the magazine. The first we see is the title, the size, the colors and its deformed shape make it the center of attraction for our eyes. We can then see "a magazine by frank ocean ..." or the sticker with the artists featured in it and some info about the album and what's inside the magazine.
Describe the the typeface(s)
All of them are sans serifs. We can find Grotesques and one Geometric. I think the "BOYS DON'T CRY" is scanned and deformed helvetica, we can find the regular helvetica in the name of the artists featured in the magazine. "A MAGAZINE BY FRANK OCEAN ..." could be a condensed franklin gothic or something very similar, I couldn't find the "001". For the "blonde" it's a custom font made from futura italic, made for frank ocean.
I guess how "wrong" the title is looking to compared to its original font is in relation to how wrong it is the sentence "boys don't cry".
This Cover is one of many that makes me want to present one of my future books in those metallic covers/"wrapping".
