The typeface used for the logo is a custom type that has a rounded sans serif style. The "N" character extends over the other characters until the "e" that has a red accent on it that completes the logo.
The typeface used below the logo is also a sans serif but geometric style type.
This product is Nescafe's hazelnut instant coffee. I believe this product is targeted towards people who don't have a lot of time to make themselves coffee or that don't want to spend too much money at coffee shops. The hazelnut scent might also serve to enhance the flavour of the coffee as it can be quite bitter at times.
I think the typefaces used on this product is warm because this company wants to sell a product that looks inviting and that will make the consumer enjoy their hot coffee. The rounded shapes of the characters in the logo also gives the illusion that this product is not intimidating. The red accent on the "e" is also a warm colour that matches the mug in the picture, which is also part of their branding. Moreover, the flavour is also in a golden-yellow colour, which is also a warm colour, which balances out the typeface's geometric characters.
What I have learned from this design is that the type combined with the right choice of colour can allow harmony in the presentation of a product and can have a strong effect on how the message is perceived.
