Meilen & Haben — Fonts

The fonts used are called «Meilen» and «Haben» and they were created by the design studio «Pfadfinderei» in Berlin. The fonts are very technical and based on pixels and vectors. The mélange appears very cold. They are used for record covers and other publications of the electronic music duos «Modeselektor» (also from Berlin).
Various technical devices and synthesizers are used in thier music. The music is experimental and extraordinary. A special font has to be used for this.
I like this new mix and interpretation of typography and it will definitly influence my future work. To write it down in my own rule: Be brave and think outside the box. Try something different and out of the ordinary.
