This book is about visual identities for restaurants, food and beverages. It contains original and unconventional design for the world of eating. It conveys businesses with their personal character which is reflected in their eye-catching design. This could through the use of names, logos, colour and packaging.

This cover was enticing for me because of the simple, yet elegant text. It is a serif font debossed in metallic silver placed along the horizon of the central image. The bottom text is split into 3 columns which carries on throughout the book layout.

This will influence my work as I consider all the possibilities of book cover design, and how they are used and manipulated to catch the viewers eye.
