too many fonts

The Roseville bar is located at 1212 Bélanger street in Rosemont. This bar is quite new and has been open for only one or two years. This picture captures the storefront of the bar.

All the fonts are q different some words are written in cursive, some have very heavy serifs and others are written with sans-serif fonts. For no specific reason, some of the words are written in italic and others aren't.

This heterogeneous mix of fonts makes the storefront confusing to read. In addition, the orientation of the words are not optimal for its legibility. Indeed, Roseville is presented vertically from the top to the bottom and espresso and cocktail are written vertically from bottom to top. Each font communicates a different message. For example, the word Roseville uses a very elegant and classy font while sangria has a very minimalist look.

This example will help me to avoid using a confusing mix of different fonts. In certain situations, a wide variety of font can be a good thing. That being said, for aesthetic and readability purposes it is important to question the choice of font.
