Montreal Museum Of Fine Art's magazine.

These pictures show pages 16 and  28 of the Montreal Museum Of Fine Art's magazine. This particular issue covered the exhibits presented at the museum from January 2018 to April 2018. This magazine is aimed at the members of the museum.

Flipping through the magazine, I noted that the layout design uses a grid system. Indeed, on each page, the type and the images are arranged according to different sized columns and rows. This allows the reader to ease his way through the text without getting lost amongst the various paragraphs and the different topics that are covered. The use of many columns is quite convenient because it allows the separation of the information instead of having on continuous text.

In this magazine, the designer chose a sans serif font. I think that this font is Arial. The design of the layout of this magazine it is a great example of a grid system that allows pictures and type to interact harmoniously. I believe this will be useful to me because I can apply some of these principles in my own practice.
