MOMO or MOOM?

The typeface used in this business card is Vegas SB Bold for "Dessert Café MOMO", Bank Sans Comp Light for the address and telephone number and finally, the typeface for the logo "MOOM" reminds me of Ipscus Fat but not quite the same.

This is a business card and a loyalty card for a café near Villa-Maria metro. The target audience are people who are going to this café as well as people who are simply just passing by and spot this logo which is used for both the business card and the logo outside the shop. This café is popular amongst students in the area thus a younger audience may be targeted.

I find the use of three different typefaces quite excessive for a business card but this is simply just a personal opinion. However, the logo "MOON" is stranger to me in the sense that it is not the same name of the café, "MOMO". I understand that the designer was trying to make something unique with the logo but I find it inconsistent and suspicious. The font itself is a great choice especially for the overall ambience of the café.

This typeface will influence my own creative work by helping me create something simple yet unique and different. The overall typeface of this business card allows me to appreciate the use of fonts that instills a type of mood but because of the strangeness of the logo, it also allows me to keep my work clear, legible and consistent.
