This typeface is very elegant, but impersonal. It's basic, yet alluring. Which is why I believe it is an example of Crystal Goblet typography. The reader is able to perceive the content of the words in the forefront, while the style of the text sits in the background. Especially in the context of a novel, which this book is. It is a collection of horror genre short stories by a collective of Québec authors. The audience should be able to be immersed in these narratives without the distraction of presentation. The layout of the page is nicely spaced. The margins are widely spaced and renders the text width quite smaller than average. However, I think this makes it easier to read as the text doesn't overwhelm the reader.
For my project, I will be taking notes on the layout and typeface as I do feel it contributes to the success of its Crystal Goblet approach. The message is conveyed efficiently, and the page looks effortlessly minimalistic.
